Job Summary

We are looking for a forward-thinking Analytics Engineer with a passion for automation, AI, and data-driven decision-making. This role blends traditional financial analysis and BI responsibilities with modern tools like Large Language Models (LLMs) and Agentic Workflows. You will be instrumental in transforming our finance operations through automation, predictive insights, and AI-enhanced reporting, helping us move from reactive reporting to proactive financial intelligence. You will also focus on reducing redundancies and manual tasks.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Partner with Data Team to develop AI-enhanced financial tools, dashboards, and internal assistants. 

  • Design and manage processes—such as agentic workflows or data pipelines-- to automate repetitive finance tasks like reconciliations, report generation, and data entry. 

  • Using APIs and other developer tools, integrate GenAI into financial workflows to automate commentary, document analysis, and insight generation. 

  • Develop and version control Data Models to power automations. 

  • Work closely with FP&A, accounting, investor relations, and financial business units to understand requirements and deliver actionable insights. 

  • Continuously evaluate new technologies and tools that can improve finance team productivity and insight generation. 

  • Ensure all AI and automation solutions comply with internal controls, security standards, and relevant regulations. 

 

Education and Skill Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field  

  • 3+ years of progressive experience in Finance, BI, or Data Analytics with exposure to data modeling and analysis. 

  • Expert proficiency in SQL with the ability to transform raw data into business-ready data models using DBT. 

  • Working knowledge of a scripting language such as Python or R. 

  • Experience with Version Control software, data automation, and dashboard tools. 

  • Ability to translate business requests into actionable project requirements. 

  • Basic knowledge in GAAP accounting and standard accounting procedures and processes. 

  • Proficient in NetSuite or similar ERP systems. 

  • Understanding of data governance, financial compliance (e.g., SOX), and security best practices. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present complex financial information to senior leadership. 

  • Attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. 

  • US Military Veteran is a plus. 

 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work/Physical Requirements

 

This is a full-time position and may require long hours and may require weekend and nights work per events. 

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard reach, stoop kneel to install computer equipment. 

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work. 

  • Light travel may be required. 

  • Regular, predictable attendance is required 

  • Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic). 

  • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.
